Personal Statement
I am a 2020 Varsity middle infielder/RHP at Conway High School in Conway, AR. I am currently ranked the #6 shortstop in Arkansas for 2020 by Perfect Game, and on the Top 10 Uncommitted Prospects list. I have a 4.1 GPA, and a 27 ACT. My stats on the 2019 High School season were batting .396, team leading OBP of .590 and team leading 28 stolen bases on the season. On the mound, I had 17K's in 14 innings pitched, with an ERA of only .521. My pitching arsenal consist mainly of a FB, CB, knuckle ball, and change up with average speed of 85-86, and a FB top speed of 87. My pulldown Velo is 92 mph. Other athletic stats, broad jump of 9’10”, standing vertical of 35”, and 3 step vertical 40”
My strengths are my speed, agility, strong arm, high character, and strong work ethic. I am very focused to succeed on the field and in the classroom. I aspire to be the best player, student, and teammate I can be, and will work as hard as possible to accomplish my personal and team goals.
My goal and dream is to play baseball at the college level and obtain a Bachelor of Science degree. After college, I plan to get into a professional medical school. In my spare time, I enjoy working out, duck hunting, and spending time with my church group and friends.
My grandfather played college baseball, and I have grown up playing baseball since I was old enough to walk. I have been playing travel baseball at the highest level since I was 7 years old. I was a USSSA All State Tournament selection 4 years in a row, and was blessed to be selected to represent Team Arkansas two years in a row. I played Varsity as an underclassman on the High School team, including a State Semi Final in 2018, and look forward to the next season helping my team get another State Championship. I love to compete, and know I have the ability and relentless drive to help your team succeed!
