I have always loved baseball. I have hit pitched whiffle balls since I was 2 years old and have played on a team since the age of 4. I became interested in pitching during little league and first realized that I was pretty good. I have played varsity baseball since freshman year and the height of my high school career, to date, was being awarded all conference my sophomore year. Unfortunately, the pandemic put an abrupt stop to this season.
I am very lucky to be a part of a supportive and cohesive team in high school. I have learned that individual statistics only matter to the individual, but team work and taking responsibility for errors and working harder for your teammates makes a stronger team. I am looking for a college experience that allows me to grow athletically as well as academically. I am looking for a cohesive team that values their teammates and working together to succeed. I’m certain my statistics and skill level will allow me to compete at the college level. I also bring a strong belief in team work and a positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
