My name is Ben Harrison. I am 6' 1" and 185 pounds. I am 17 years old and I am in my junior year at Newtown High School in Newtown, CT. I currently have a 3.4/4.0 GPA and I am working towards improving it this year by continuing to perform well in honors classes.
As a freshman, I was the only player to not only make, but also play on the Varsity team. I was the first player in four years to do this since Kyle Wilcox, who now plays in the Seattle Mariners organization. Last season, I was the only sophomore starter on a "LL" high school team that came in first in its conference.
I was recently (Oct 2016) named one of the Captains for the 2017 season.
Baseball has always been a major part of my life. My father played college baseball, my brother played college baseball and I have been playing since I was six years old. I have also been fortunate enough to play in the Cal Ripken World Series when I was 10 years old and again at 12 years old.
