Theo Herbert '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Theo Herbert from Germantown, New York. I am a 6’5” 235lb RHP. 

I am in the class of 2023 at Suffield Academy in Connecticut. I transferred and reclassified to Suffield after completing my junior year at Red Hook High School in New York. 

I am looking for a great college baseball program where I can continue my academic and baseball career. 

As a student, I am extremely diligent and hardworking. I maintain a 3.8 GPA in Honors classes. I achieved Principal Honor Roll during each of my 3 years at Red Hook High School. I achieved Honor Roll my first term at Suffield and am on-track to achieve High Honor Roll for second term. 

I am a 4 year varsity starter spanning between the 2 schools I have attended. Unfortunately the bulk of my Sophomore season was cancelled due to Covid. Last season at Red Hook High School I was very successful as the primary starting pitcher. This coming baseball season at Suffield I hope to make an impact as a starting pitcher at the top of our rotation. As a team we hope to continue the success that Suffield has had on the baseball field over the past 10 years.

In addition to high school varsity I have been on many travel teams through the years, since age 11. This summer season I am going to pitch for various teams and also attend some tournaments and showcases. I hope that you are able to see me play at some point.
