Noah Schermerhorn '25 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coach, 

I hope this email finds you well!  My name is Noah Schermerhorn, a 2025 student-athlete from Suffield High School, Suffield CT. I have been the starting Varsity Catcher since beginning my high school baseball career as a Freshman for Suffield High School and currently play travel for Gap2Gap, out of South Windsor, CT.   I played for several years for the Northern CT Mustangs, out of East Granby, CT before this year.  I am interested in playing baseball at the collegiate level.

I am reaching out to you to express my interest and desire in playing and studying at your school and at the next level.  With your combination of elite athletics, outstanding academics and a baseball program that includes a family-like atmosphere with a great coaching staff, I believe I could be a valuable addition to your team, in the locker room, on the field, and in the classroom.

I'm a catcher who has made All-Tournament Team in 3 Perfect game Tournaments batting over .400 in each, was MVP of the Colonial League season, starting Varsity catcher for my full high school career, have a pop time of 2.00 seconds, and have a true love for the sport.

 Academically, I'm interested in business and look forward to strengthening my understanding in that program.  I currently have a 3.3 weighted GPA and a 3.1 unweighted GPA.  I am taking AP English Language and all other core classes at the Honors level.   I also have volunteered time coaching the younger age group teams with the Mustangs.    

What solidified my love for baseball was the bond I developed with my Suffield Little League team as we played throughout the 2019 season to win the District 8 Little League title.
