Personal Statement
What sets me apart from other student athletes my age is the fact that I have maintained a 3.8 GPA throughout my school years playing baseball, football and basketball. I play for my high school baseball team and football team and have attended a few camps for football and baseball.
I have found success on the baseball field because of my natural leadership. I love to make all of my teammates are performing as well as they can. I am 6 foot 5 253 pounds. My size gives me the ability to have great range to get to balls that many first basemen couldn't get to. I show great flexibility which lends to my range as well as a great ability to pick balls in the dirt. I also have the ability to hit anywhere on the field with power.
I have succeeded in my football career so far because I keep a positive, never give up, hardworking, mindset. Me, being 6’5, I am a defensive end. I am fast on my feet and my awareness is extremely high. My block shedding/run defense and pass rush are two components that set me aside from other defensive ends. As well as defensive end i and the right tackle. My pass protection is, what i think one of the best things about my game. But, i can also run out on screens. Im quick on my feet. But most of all it’s about loving the culture of your team.
