I have always been a four sport athlete participating in baseball, football, basketball, and track, but baseball has always been the sport that I have had a strong passion for. I have played baseball since I was four and I enjoy everything about the sport. I have caught all of my baseball career and I love sitting behind the plate and catching each pitch. As an eighth grader I played on my varsity baseball team and my freshman year I was named the starting catcher. I went on to win the rookie of the year which was a team award. I was a letter winner as a freshman and I was behind the plate for every pitch. I would be a good candidate for any college team because I have tons of experience and I'm a great leader. As a leader I am apart of my school's student council, I'm my class president, and I participate in my church's youth group. I am different from other recruits because I balance my sports, academics, and leadership opportunities. I'm also different because through my leadership opportunities I have learned that it's not always about yourself, it's about giving back to the people and community you came from.
