As a high school sophomore I am still undecided with my academic and school career goals, but I do know that I plan to play baseball(pitcher or 1st base) at the college level. My parents are very supportive of my goals and are willing to help me in this entire process and along the way. With that support, and my willingness to put in the extra work, I believe I am a great candidate for most colleges. As a player, growing up in the Midwest, I know that it takes a lot of extra time and effort for us to get recruited. Most other states can play year round baseball, but I believe that playing multiple sports (baseball, basketball and football) will benefit me and my character. Being a multiple sport athlete works various muscle groups, exposes me to different coaching styles, and creates a variety of adverse situations. All of these things will help me to work through the adverse and mentally tough aspects of college baseball.
