Baseball is my passion; I have been playing since I was about 4 years old. I have played in many different leagues and travel/club ball teams. These opportunities have given me many experiences in which to learn and grow. Having these experiences, I have grown greatly and am sure I would be an asset for to my future team and college. I love to hunt, shoot, play basketball, puzzles and reading books.
I want to play baseball for a college that values me as a player, student, and a person, where I can develop my skills as an athlete and person. No matter what time it is or day it is I'm willing to put in the work to get better. Being a team player is the most important thing, treating others right and executing plays as they should be. I want to be the one leading my team with a big hit or striking out their best hitters. But I will sacrifice an at bat to move a runner over or hit a long fly ball to score a run for my team. I will put my body on the line for the best of the team. Putting in the work every day is what counts to me to get better and evolve. I currently train at the Tim Soder's Baseball Academy 5 days a week with the goal of becoming bigger and stronger with superior fitness to be one of the best pitcher's and position players in the State of Nevada. I won't be satisfied till the end of a long continuous journey is complete.
I started playing travel ball at age 8, while still participating in the other leagues. I have always stayed focused on being the best I can be and enjoyed playing baseball every day of my life. Since entering high school I have been on the school team and continued to grow and learn how to be the best player I can be while maintaining 4.0+ GPA.
I have many qualities to bring to any team, I am a team player and get along well with fellow teammates and coaches. I follow directions, I’m ready for anything at any time, I have a positive attitude and encourage others. I am the youngest of 5 children and know the importance of helping each other out.
As a dual enrollment high school student, I will earn an Associate of Arts degree when I graduate from high school. I am looking to playing for Head Coach Logan Stout at the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff. I am looking forward for the opportunity to get a great education and fulfill my dream of playing college level baseball. My ultimate goal is to follow my cousin Dan Straily and play in the MLB.
