Jaco Cusmano '25 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing baseball since the age of 4 years old, and have been a catcher since the age of 7. I have always loved playing baseball and have always had an aspiration to play college baseball. My goal is to always put the team first exhibit good sportsmanship and prioritize winning the game. I always support my teammates and try to help them when help is due. As a catcher, it is my role to be a great team leader on the field. That of which I am. My goal is to play college baseball and assist in bring the best parts of my game to every inning. I have played on the Taconic Rangers, Northeast Pride, East Coast Elite and Proswing Pride travel teams. Valhalla Vikings Varsity Baseball is my home town school team.. Baseball is not the only sport I have participated in. I hold a second degree black belt Tae Kwon Do and have competed at the national level at the age of 12. Through Tae Kwon Do, I learned self-discipline, dedication, and commitment. I adopted the motto to “never give up” and “always finish what I start”.  I am a good student mentally, academically, and physically. I am kind, courteous, and respectful to everyone no matter what. I choose to study in a Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering program.
