Personal Statement

Coach, Thank you for viewing my profile.  I have played baseball for a long time and for the last couple of years at a very high level and I believe I have the skills to compete at the college level.

What makes me a good candidate for your team?  On top of projectability as a college pitcher, I am respectful to coaches, easy to coach, and get along with all my teammates very well.  I take care of my business whether it's on the field, in the classroom, or at home.  This fall I am working on my strength and conditioning, and focusing on my two AP classes and college English.

Off the field, I have been appointed the top job as Commanding Officer in the Bixby Marine Corps JROTC program for my senior year. I am in my fourth year in this program. The MCJROTC program has taught me discipline, dependability, hard work, and leadership and those skills have been very important in other areas of my life, especially on the baseball field.
