My dream is to play college baseball and I’m willing to do whatever it takes to get to that level.
I am working to get 1% better every day. My primary position is pitcher and I am doing everything possible to become your rotation leader. But I am also working on my overall skills - I would prefer to be a two-way player so I can still help the team when I am not on the mound. But I am also willing to be a PO - I will do whatever the team needs me to do.
At the college level I am looking for the best fit for me both as a player and as a student. I have already been through a similar process when choosing a high school. I am looking for similar things - a place where I can thrive academically, I am excited to get up each day, and that feels like home.
On the diamond, I am very coachable and one of the hardest workers you will find. To paraphrase Derek Jeter, there are players that may have more talent than me, but nobody is going to outwork me. My coaches say that I am resilient, determined, and a terrific teammate. I have also been told that I am the type of player that is needed in every locker room. I am looking for an environment where I can keep developing my skills, where I will be challenged to be the best, where coaching lessons apply both on and off the field, and where the team is a family.
I look forward to being a part of your team.
