Academics and athletics go hand and hand. A person needs the characteristics and skills obtained by both to be successful. Having a good work ethic, the ability to learn new concepts and strategies, and being coachable are all a part of the game and academics for me. Success takes being humble, and being easy going, and letting my actions lead by example. College and playing baseball are steps that will help to teach me the skills to be successful in life.
