Kayla Doan '21 Recruiting Profile

I am a rising senior and I play for Pomfret Academy. During my three seasons playing at Pomfret (NEPSAC)I have been the starting goalie. Out of those three years, we have made play offs twice. I have went to tremendous lengths to lead my team; whether it’s skills like slide tackling, 2 on 1’s or learning the most efficient and effective way to communicate with each of my players. I take pride in being a leader on and off the field. Being a goalie has taught me to lead by example whether its running extra laps at practice, making sure we are eating right as a team or creating positive energy to make sure everyone is doing their best.
