Personal Statement

I am a 5’8, 220lb kicker at Lincoln-Way Central High School in New Lenox, Illinois. I have a 100% in-game percentage with 44/44 point after touchdown (PAT) opportunities and 1 true field goal opportunity at 30 yards. My conditioning stats are: 375lb squat max, 140lb push press, 150lb hang clean, and a 195lb bench press. Some of my speed times are a 4.72 pro agility and a 1.20 10-yard fly. An additional number I have is a 22.8 vertical. In the classroom, I have a 3.62 GPA. My schedule for the 2021-2022 school year was Honors Biology, Honors English 1, and Honors Algebra 1 as well as AP Human Geography and Spanish 2. For the upcoming 2022-2023 year, I will be enrolled in Honors Geometry Honors English 2, Chemistry and AP U.S History. With the space in my schedule to choose two electives, I will develop life skills through auto mechanics/small machines and Foods/International Foods.

The colleges I am interested in are known for tradition and excellence. I am looking into colleges in areas such as: Indiana, Tennessee, Kentucky, Texas, Alabama, as well as other areas in the South. I hope to attend a good agriculture school and play for the football program. I dream of attending and playing at BIG 10 schools, SEC, PAC 12, or ACC, but I also hope to attend and play at some Division 2 schools as well. The most ideal college environment would be one that will challenge me both academically and athletically to strive to reach my full potential.  A couple things I love from my high school football team that I hope to find in a college team is family. Being able to count on each other and be yourself around each other is one key thing that seems to make a football teamwork work like a well-oiled machine.

A few things I would like a coach to know about me is that I will always be on time, and I am fully prepared for practice. I am very coachable and will take criticism to improve in the next rep. I am reliable, loyal, and respectful of my teammates and coaches. Finally, I am hard working and will practice until I get a kick or motion down perfect.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE.
