I started playing football in 1st grade and immediately fell in love with the contact and the brotherhood you forge playing with your team. The most important life lesson I've learned from playing football is that their are no 1 man teams and you have to trust one another to become #1.
When I started high school, (I was at a different school than what I am now) me and my team were one of the top teams in my district. When I moved to the school I'm at now, we were and still are the underdogs. Its taught me a lot. Its taught me that being an underdog means you have to challenge you and your teammates academically and athletically more and more, constantly pushing one another and it's made me realize I want to be challenge like that continuously after highschool.
