Ian Jackson '19 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals include playing for the right college that is a close to perfect fit for me both academically and athletically. I have played basketball competitively since 7th grade and have loved the process of training and growing in all aspects of the sport since then. I have a very hard work ethic in both athletics and in academics as I train almost nonstop and study continuously. This is seen in the way I positively affect my peers and those around me both on the court and in the classroom. My mentality is one of confidence, determination, and steadfastness in my capabilities and beliefs. I am rarely rattled and disturbed by failures and overcome them in order to not let them occur again. Once in college, I hope to contribute my current skills and also learn further skills in order to become the best I can possibly be in the sport I love. I also hope to contribute my aim for excellence in the way I set an example for those around me as I have done and continue to do at the high school level.
