My name is Derrick Jordan Jr.  I am senior at Westside High School in Houston, Texas.  As a player on the varsity basketball team, I am a two year letterman. My collegiate goals are to earn a academic degree in Business Administration-Marketing with a minor in Sports Management. I am interested in obtaining an athletic scholarship in basketball at a university that can enable me to enhance my talents both academically and athletically.  I am a team player who welcomes challenges and I am adaptable to change. I am dedicated and committed to achieving my academic goals in college to provide a solid foundation for my professional development. As an athlete, I am committed to contributing my talents for the good of the team at whatever level needed. I am a hard worker and a team player.
