Basketball Summer...Personal Statement
I believe that whatever team I play for, I will work to build chemistry with the players and coaches. I know that I will put a lot of thinking into my craft, and, if I need to improve any aspect of my game, I will work until I am the best I can be. I will always aim to exceed my expectations as a player and as a teammate. If my teammates need help on the court, I'll step in as a member of the team and do whatever I have to. If Coach needs me to study film or go over a play, I will.
My vision is to become an all-star point guard. As the Captain of my basketball team, I strive to use my athletic ability to help my teammates succeed .
I believe that what sets me apart from other players is that I approach the game more analytically. I put a lot of thought into every aspect of the game. For example, I break down each play and I know where everyone is supposed to be so that, if I have to fill in a spot, I know where to go. I often see the play before it happens.

Are you in honor classes?
Yes. I have been in both English and math honors classes since I was a 6th grader in Lytle Jr. High. As an upcoming freshman, I will continue being in those classes.Are you in AP/IB classes?

- AwardsI am enrolled in two honors classes and have maintained high 90s in both for the past 2 years. My lexile level is at Grade 12 level (1320L).
- ActivitiesI refereed soccer games for the Lytle Youth Program. I helped with coaching during the elementary season for basketball.
