I am a focused and well-rounded goaltender. I am always looking for opportunities to improve my skills through clinics, camps and other training platforms. I train both on and off the ice, but also participate in mental and visual trainings with my Goaltender Coach, Ryan Massa. I am a leader on and off the ice. I am a vocal player and understand with my position I am able to see the entire ice. With that advantage, I communicate with my teammates regarding plays I see forming in front of me. I listen to feedback from coaches and apply the corrections. This type of dedication assists in my development as a player but also helps my team. I also believe education is important. I want to continue to play hockey at a higher level, but also believe you need a solid educational foundation in order to become more successful in life. I also believe in giving back. I enjoy working with younger goaltenders to help them develop their skill and confidence level. I want to help provide younger goaltenders with the same opportunities I was given.
My long term plan for the future is to play hockey at the highest level possible. I would like to play at the Junior Level and work towards a college scholarship. I understand that my future in hockey depends on a lot of different factors. First and foremost, I need to continue to work on my skills in order to make myself a better player for my team. I also know that I need to continue to focus on my education in order to improve my overall GPA. I also need to continue to make good decisions regarding my actions and never put myself in a situation where my character is questioned. Keeping these three things in mind, I believe I will continue to grow as a hockey player and a young man. I have a passion for working with children and I would enjoy coaching goaltenders in the future. I am not in communication with any schools or recruiters at this time.
