I was 5 years old when I started playing the greatest sport in the world. Ice Hockey. The sport has taught me a lot of things. To work together as a team to achieve a common goal, to sacrifice yourself for the greater good of the team, to leave everything you have on the ice so you have no regrets after every practice, game, camp, showcase, etc. I know all those things are very important, but the sport has taught me something that I will use for the rest of my life, the importance of hard work. To achieve your dreams, you have to put in a lot of work and effort. It is that simple. I have instilled this trait as part of my character. I apply this principle to all parts of my life. My grades, my athletic life, in everything I do. My overall college goal is to earn a degree in whatever field I choose. My hockey goal though is to become the best hockey player I can be. My ultimate goal is to play professional hockey and college hockey. I am a player that is committed to improvement, will put the extra hours after practice and in the weight room, as I know it will help me become the best player I can be for not just for myself, but for your program.
