Ridley Phillips '27 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coaches,

I am Ridley Phillips and I am an aspiring college soccer player. I attend Pomfret School and am currently a sophomore and currently play club for Spirit of Liverpool FC. During my freshman year I played for PSC Dynamo. I am a more attacking central midfield midfielder who can create chances and score from anywhere. I can also play as a number 9 or a number 8. My past season, my Sophomore year, I led my team with 13 goals and 7 assists, totaling 20 points in 19 games. I started every game, playing the full 90 in majority of them. During my Freshman year, I led the team in goals with 9, had 3 assists and played the minutes on the team, often the full 90. I mainly score from long, dribbling runs, beating multiple defenders, free kicks, or making runs into pockets of space. I am a super hard worker on and off the field and am willing to work as hard as I need to reach my goals. I take very competitive academic classes and am a 3 sport varsity athlete (soccer, basketball and tennis).  I am a very coachable player and want to learn how to become the best athlete and person I can be.
