My name is Anthony Yardy and I was supposed to be a baseball player, it was family tradition. I became a soccer player instead and my family followed. Soccer has been one of the most important parts of my life for as long as I can remember. I’m happiest when on the field. The thing that sets me apart is grit. I want this and I’ll fight for it.
I have always been a defensive player, mostly at the sweeper position, since high school I’ve been playing right back. I try to be a leader for my team in attitude and intensity every time we step onto the field. My dream is to continue playing soccer beyond high school and while obtaining an education. I will work as hard in my academics as I will on the field.
