Matthew Pearson '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Matthew Pearson and I currently live in Tulsa, Oklahoma where I moved with my parents in 2008 from Berkshire, England.

Sports and athletics have always been a big part of my life but I also understand the importance of a good education, so I am looking for a college that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as from a business and academic point of view.

As a dedicated, motivated and driven athlete, I work hard on and off the field to become stronger, faster and more skilled and I will never stop wanting to improve. I am not afraid of hard work and I am willing to make the sacrifices required, in order to be the best that I can be, at the sport that I am passionate about. I consider myself to be an effective team player, I have a wide sense of perception for the game and I possess solid technical ability. I do like to win, but my personal experiences have shown me that you develop a greater strength and determination to win, when faced with setbacks. I work hard for results and continually push myself to improve and enhance my game.

My goals for playing soccer in college are to represent my school to the best of my ability, have a positive impact on my fellow teammates, have fun, and be part of a competitive and successful team.

My main attributes are my work ethic, my technical ability and my vision and overall understanding of the game. I am a person who is of good moral character, I am trustworthy and a dedicated student and athlete. I know that I will make a good addition to the right School's soccer and overall community.
