Reese Coon '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Reese Coon & I am from a softball family.  My Dad played baseball and is my travel ball coach.  My Dad's brother & four sisters played ball collegiately too.  I started playing at age 5, joined a 10u team at age 7 and never looked back.  I love this game and all of the people I have had the ability to meet.  My favorite thing about softball is that it has given me a level of confidence in myself on and off the field.  I am a great skills player, am versatile playing all positions (except pitching) and in the top for batting average on my teams.  I feel I am a great teammate because I work hard in practices, am a strong leader by example and I encourage others.  I stay balanced by also playing tennis.  My grades are important to me.  I excel academically in honors & AP classes and will responsibly balance college softball & my academics.  I'm open to nearly everywhere and can't wait to start learning about your softball program and school.  I want this opportunity to play the sport I love at the next level.  Thank you for considering me!
