Hi my name is Madison Baker. I'm 18 years old from Sydney, Australia and am currently studying at and playing for Angelina College in Texas.
I am looking for an opportunity to complete a degree at a Division 1 University and think I would be a great candidate for your team as I have played at the highest level for my age in Australia including the 2019 U17 National Championships and 2020 U18 National Championships. I was awarded the Batting Award and received the Player of the Grand Final award in 2019. My team won the 2020 Championships as well and I caught the Championship Game.
I have most recently played in the New South Wales Open Womens State Championship (Dec 2021) where we won the Championship Game. I was lead catcher to Kaia Parnaby and Ell Roberts both of whom pitched at the Tokyo Olympics.
I remain calm in high pressure situations having played catcher at the highest level and have previously been named in the 2020 U18 Australian Women's Squad. I enjoy the team environment, learning new things to improve my game and am looking forward to the next challenge of completing a degree whilst playing the sport I love.
