I have wanted to play college softball since I learned that playing in college could become a reality. I want to win championships and at the same time earn a degree that can help me become successful as an adult. I demonstrate leadership both on and off the field, work to reach my utmost potential, and will continue that work into college and beyond. I am a Class of 2024 pitcher and an outfielder but can play anywhere on the field. I just finished my Senior season at Edmond Santa Fe High School. I have been Honorable Mention for the COAC team for the last three seasons, the first two as a pitcher and 3rd baseman, and for my Senior season as a Center Fielder. I am also part of the 2023 Region 13 team as an outfielder. I will play wherever my coaches need me in order to help the team. I love the game and it is a part of who I am. Getting to play softball and earn a degree at the same time will be a dream come true.
Sincerely,
Lydia Weldon
