July 2019Personal Statement
Education is important for my family. Continuing my education after high school is important, and playing softball at that level (and possibly beyond) is also a goal and would be a dream come true for me.
I am a focused player and do not bring negative drama into this game. Passion for the game does not have to mean every emotion has to be dramatized. It's important to be a leader/cheerleader for my team, and I continue to work on that.

- Tournament/video evaluation notes: Isabelle has earned herself Softball Factory All-American Pre-Season Rookie honors. During game play, Isabelle proved to be a vocal player that helped lead her team. In the box, Isabelle showed good pitch recognition and was able to work deep in the counts. She is able to draw the walk and extend an inning. Working to engage her lower half more and extending through contact will allow her to see more gap production. At 1B, Isabelle is a hard-working player. She hustles and handles the routine play. She is a good target for her team and works to pick balls out of the dirt. Adding a pre-pitch approach will allow her to be more fluid to the ball and to the bag. Overall, Isabelle has a clear passion for the game and will see continued success

- Evaluation notes: Isabelle returns to Softball Factory to show she has been working hard to take her game to the next level. Since her last outing, Isabella has increased all her tool grades. On the mound, Isabelle is a RHP that has a great presence and works hard every pitch. She uses the correct spins and is able to keep her spins tight to create good movement on the ball. She controls the zone and is able to hit her spots. Her rise ball and curveball show good break and allow her to keep hitters off balance. Working to explode off the mound with her lower half will allow her to see continued increases in her speed. In the box, Isabelle uses an athletic stance with good balance. She loads her hands back, creates fluid rhythm and generates explosive bat speed. She is a consistent line drive hitter that is able to work the gaps. Working to keep her weight back longer will allow her to have more explosion through contact. Overall, Isabelle is an athletic player that will be a great addition to a collegiate line up.

- Evaluation notes: Isabelle is a 2023 right handed first baseman and pitcher with a developing skill set. Defensively, she has fluid footwork and range to her glove side. She has a clean exchange on her throws to her target and stays smooth through the ball. She has an accurate arm on her throws to her target and shows strength in her release. She gives great effort and keeps the ball in the infield at all costs. On the mound, she has a calm presence and extends through well on her release. She is athletic in her balance and fluid in her arm circle. She hits her spots well and displays solid spin in her rise ball. Offensively, she has a tall set up in the box and an on time stride to the ball. She stays smooth through her rhythm and has the ability to hit the ball hard in the gaps. Overall, Isabelle is very coachable and has a great attitude. If she continues to work hard she will do what it takes to play at the collegiate level.
