From a young age I participated in many sports, but quickly realized that softball was my favorite and what I wanted to pursue. Of the nine years I have been playing softball, eight have been on a travel ball team. I have played with the same coach for all eight years and this has made it even more fun because I not only see my growth as an individual player, I also see the growth of my whole team. I’ve always played at the top level of my division and this has brought out a highly competitive side of me as well as a drive to keep pushing myself on and off the field. My academic goals to maintain a high GPA, and to be in the top 15%, along with my athletic goal to play in college keep me motivated and my work ethic strong until my vision becomes a reality.
