I am interested in attending a college that will give me a well rounded experience, both academically and with competitive athletics! I hope to be part of a team that is positive and with teammates that push and support each other. I am a team first player and hold myself to a high standard. I am always willing to push myself to improve and not let my teammates down. I understand that sometimes this includes doing what it takes to put the team in a position to win, taking pitches and going deep into counts to let teammates on base to advance, execute sacrifice bunts when necessary and play the position in the infield that gives our team in the best opportunity to win. I started playing baseball at 5 years old and transitioned to fast pitch softball at 8 years old. I have loved every minute of it!
I am currently a junior at Thomas A. Edison High School in Alexandria, Virginia, where I have a GPA of 4.05 and was recently accepted into the National Honor Society! I have been the starting varsity shortstop on the softball team since my freshman year. I earned First Team All National District honors both 2018 & 2019, and was selected First Team All Region 5C 2019, and Edison HS Team MVP 2019. I’m also a member of the NVGSA Firebirds 18U travel team, playing both shortstop and 3rd base. I am lucky to have had great coaches that pushed great work habits and made me keep my eye on continuing to play in college. I plan to pursue Computer Science in college and I'm currently working toward my cyber security/networking certification while in high school. My goal is to develop/program robotics!
