Hi! I’m Iman, 

I am from the UK I am currently studying the IB in Hockerill anglo-European college.

I picked up basketball seriously over 2 years ago now and haven’t dropped it ever since. Dealing with fear has posed as challenge for me; fear of failure, yet I have proved in many cases, that can be overcome that fear and instead, use it to my advantage. I am a point guard for my U18 team who constantly strives to learn more about the game, and overall improve my game IQ. I believe I am very coachable as I understand the importance of discipline and the ethics of hard work. I understand what it takes to win and treat every training session as if it is the last. My goal to get a college scholarship fuel me to show up everyday and get better. Off the court, I am very social and like to see my friends succeed. I believe this translates to my on-court communication and improves my ability to work with a team. 

Academically, I can be described as focused and hard working. My grades from GCSE have also been quite strong. I would say I am well rounded and open-minded.
