Diving in 2021I am determined to make a difference in the World by helping others and leading a happy and successful life. I have always been a team player and help to support those around me, both in my academic and social life. I benefit greatly and gratefully from the support and advice of others and do not hesitate to reciprocate this when and where I can. Through school, college and my diving career, I believe I have developed core skills in leadership, organisation, resilience, initiative and communication. Through lockdown, at the height of the pandemic, I believe I also developed my innovation skills, creating strength and conditioning routines at home that helped maintain my focus, training and indeed well-being. I am currently studying A-Levels in Biology, Physical Education and Psychology at the award winning Barton Peveril College in Hampshire, UK. It is the latter of those subjects which I have developed a significant interest in and in particular memory and skill acquisition. In diving, I very much enjoy being part of a team and the camaraderie, wins and challenges this brings. I want to continue to learn and develop to be the best springboard diver I can be to help my team win competitions and ultimately inspire the next generation of divers, particularly females and those from ethnic minority backgrounds like myself.
