Sophia LoCascio

I have been playing since 3rd grade, & I love the game. Sophomore year, I was selected as captain of my team by my coach. I have great field awareness and IQ, both on and off ball, and I have strong stick skills.

Both of my HS seasons I have led my team in points (5.7 per game), goals (4.25/g), draws/draw controls, shooting percentage (71%), and minutes played (99%).My studies are as important to me as lacrosse.  I attend, Academic Magnet HS, ranked the #2 public high school in the nation.   My current GPA is 4.33.I am a 2 sport athlete (Basketball - center).

I am a member of Key Club (volunteer organization).  With an interest in serving my community, I was a Candy Striper at the Medical University of South Carolina this past year, and participated in many beach and creek cleanups.
