I want my college experience to have tools that I will be able to utilize after my time in college and to be in a positive atmosphere. I have been playing soccer since I was 3, and it has always been a part of my life that I love. I have a great work ethic and know that no matter how much I improve and no matter how good I get there is still room for improvement and I will try my best at everything. My position on the field has allowed me to read the game very well, I take feedback and apply it to various situations, and adapt to different playing styles very quickly. In May of 2021 I tore my ACL and both of my meniscus in one knee, then had surgery in June and started the recovery process. I got cleared to play in January which was just in time for HS tryouts and about 7 and a half months from when I had surgery (it's estimated to take 9 months or longer before getting cleared, and a year until it's fully healed). I made varsity and played in over half of our games (with my knee recovering and fighting to get back during the other half) even though I wasn't at full strength I fought my way mentally and physically to do the best I could and I pushed for my team and teammates. One of the many things that I truly love about the game is how competitive it is, and how it pushes you to become your best self.
