Brielle Collier '21 Recruiting Profile

Before high school, I was a relatively shy, stand offish person. However, I made the decision to join my high school soccer team my freshman year. I was so lucky enough to be a part of such an accepting and bubbly team! The single most shaping moment of my high school career is  whenever I was thrown into the goal our district game against our rivals as a freshman after our starting goalie suffered a concussion. Although we didn't come out in top that game, it was still a win for me. While I've had several great wins over my career, this loss will always stand on top as one of my favorite memories. It opened a new door for me. It showed me loss is just as important as a win.  It taught me to keep going because the win doesn't always come in the beginning.
