Personal Statement
My name is Brooke Davis and I am a sophomore at Oklahoma Christian School this year. Soccer has always been a constant in my life. It helped me adjust to new environments as I moved every couple years because my dad was a fighter pilot in the Air Force. Despite the life changes, I knew that I could I always count on soccer to be my happy place. I have learned so many things growing up as a military kid. I am able to adapt to new situations, find the positive no matter where I am, while leveraging my life experiences to put things into perspective. I believe that I apply those traits on and off the field. I do my best to be a leader and bring out the best in my teammates no matter the situation. Leadership to me is setting an example for your people by giving everything you have each training session and game, while always being determined to better the group. I would be an asset to your team because of the energy I bring to the field, my ability to adapt to situations and seek the positive, and my determination to do what it takes to be the best version of myself. I hope to attend a college that will challenge me academically and athletically. Along with valuing the importance of my academics, my faith in Jesus is also something that means the world to me and I hope to share that love with the people around me. I am looking to play at a school that will enable me to prepare to pursue a Law degree or go to Medical School.
