Going into spring semester of senior year, I decided to try hurdles. I placed third at State with a time of 46.74. I am a good candidate for a collegiate team because I am a hard worker on and off the track, I am coachable and love learning everything about racing (psychology, physiology, strategy, etc.). I love to compete. Because of my background in powertumbling, I believe there are events I might be good at that I haven't tried yet. I am open to trying new events. My competitive background has helped me prepare mentally for the collegiate level of racing. I was an elite powertumbler and qualified for and competed at Nationals. I made top 10 (9th) out of all age groups (I was in 8th grade). I transfered my competitive drive from tumbling to track in 9th grade. In 2023, I qualified for Nike Indoor Nationals and got to compete at the Armory in NYC. In June 2023, I competed at Nike Outdoor Nationals in Eugene, OR as an emerging elite in the 800m. I loved that race because I set a new PR of 2:14.42 and made some really great new friends. I love meeting the girls I compete with. We push each other to be our very best. For me, competition is fun. I thrive in these environments and look forward to competing at the collegiate level. As a senior, I finished our cross country season with my best time yet. I ran a 19:44 5K, got 8th place, and made the All-State team. I currently have a 3.9 GPA. NCAA ID #2308991925
