Bailey Koenig '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Bailey Koenig. I have been playing volleyball for 6 years. Volleyball has put me through many struggles and many triumphs, and I got through it all with my team by my side. My team and the atmosphere we have created together has changed me forever. I have learned that my teammates thoughts and emotions are very important to me, I always strive to learn and try new things, and be the best person I can be on and off the court. I have learned that I am a coachable, positive, outgoing player who is never scared to have a conversation with someone new, or comfort someone in need. I am a natural born leader, and am always looking to help. I am always working to learn new skills or run new plays. I have a strong mentality, and never let a mistake or loss bring me down. 

While volleyball is very important to me, I am a student first, and an athlete second. I have always and will always put school above athletics. I hold straight A's while trying to push myself as much as possible, and always strive to run a balanced life.

I would love to play volleyball in college because I love the delicate balance between school, volleyball, and holding an active social life. I strongly believe that anything is possible if you're willing to put in enough work, and I hold myself to that. In college, I will work and put in an immense amount of effort to continue playing the sport I love.
