Sophia Verdicchio '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sophia Verdicchio. I am currently a class of 2026 L/DS on Triad United Volleyball Academy (TUVA) 17-Elite. I attend Wake Young Women's Leadership Academy (WYWLA) and play volleyball on varsity at Needham Broughton High School in Raleigh, NC.  While participating in volleyball and academics are my main focus, I also love weightlifting, yoga, photography and any kind of art. for my junior and upcoming senior year, i was chosen as a model for Young and Free Photography, a high end, high fashion portrait photographer. 

I am the youngest of four children, two of which participated in high level college sports.  I plan to follow in their footsteps while pursuing a degree in Interior Design or Architecture.  It takes a lot of hard work to get there and I continue to put in every effort possible to achieve this goal and dream.
