Volleyball in the last three years has become a huge part of my life. When starting my freshmen year I went in with the hopes of just enjoying learning a new sport and while reaching that goal I also fell in love with the sport. Ever since starting I have constantly done whatever I can to become a better overall player and teammate, things like coming in early and staying late to practices became an everyday thing and much more. The dedication, hustle, communication, and strength needed and that I have acquired from playing has helped me so much outside of volleyball as well. I have a 4.2 GPA on top of making sure I give 110% to my team at all times, and that is only because of my coaches and teammates belief in me as their captain and also the support they give me. I plan to become a psychiatrist so being able to maintain my grades while also playing the sport that I love means everything to me. I hope to find a college that will continue to provide this support in my education and better me not just as a player but in my regular life.
