Volleyball was added to my school when I was in 7th grade. I immediately fell in love with the sport. As soon as school season was over, I joined my first club and have made volleyball my main sports focus ever since. I hold myself to a high standard in everything I do. I am not afraid to ask questions. I seek feeback to improve my game. My determination and will to succeed have helped me become a player and person willing to put forth the the extra time and effort to be the best I can be. This would not have been possible without the support and influence of my family. Growing up with such good examples of work ethic has pushed me to be a better player and leader.
As a team captain this year I was most proud of the team and making it to State after just 4 years of having a volleyball program at Newcastle. My goal for high school is to be valedictorian along with taking my team to State in volleyball again. For college, I want to compete at a high level in volleyball and academics. My ultimate career goal is to enter the medical field.
