What the Coaches are Saying...
Feb 12, 2019

“We have exceptional academic programs in education, nursing, criminal justice, communication disorders, athletic training, and kinesiology, among others. We are interested in high-character athletes who understand what it means to put the team first. Academics are held in the highest regard so we expect players to be in class and to work extremely hard in the classroom. If you want to have a successful playing career at UW Eau Claire, you must be competitive. We expect our players to compete on and off the field every day in everything they do - it's what you will have to do to be successful in the "real world" after your playing days are over. Our philosophy is one of teaching life skills through the sport of softball, along with developing leadership. Through those avenues, we believe winning becomes a by-product of what we do and the relationships we build within our program.”

—Coach Leslie Huntington
