My name is Caleb Jackson. Currently I am a sophomore in the graduating class of 2025 at Canisius High School, in Buffalo, NY. I am an honor student who understands the importance of a great education. I stand at 6’3 and weigh 205 lbs. I am a right-handed hitter and thrower. My primary position is Pitcher, but I also play First base and Third base. On the field, I am a hard worker, motivator, and I value the feeling of being a cohesive unit with my teammates. Over the past 5 years, I have traveled and branched out from my hometown to other cities and states to play with and against the top competition at my current level. I have done so in order to strengthen and diversify my level of play and to receive more constructive feedback. Baseball and school take up the majority of my time. However, in my spare time, I enjoy volunteering for the Premier Baseball Travel League for younger athletes. I am driven to assist other athletes who love the game the way I do. During the season, I participate in weight training and conditioning multiple days a week with my team. During the off-season, I spend my time staying in shape by cardio workouts, weight training, and meeting with an instructor to improve my pitching and hitting. I aspire to play at the collegiate level while earning a degree that will allow me continued success in the future. Baseball has provided me with many of the tools needed to earn an undergraduate degree successfully. It has provided me with a solid foundation in hard work, courage, resilience, and accountability. I have tremendous respect for the game, my teammates, and my coaches. Without my teammates and coaches, I wouldn’t be the player that I am today. If afforded the opportunity to play collegiate ball, I want to assure coaches who find an interest in me, that I will continue to strive to improve my mental and physical game in both academics and in baseball, while always encouraging my teammates to do the same.
