I was born into a military family. I have traveled all over the country and lived in many states. Being part of a military family and having to move multiple times has helped me become outgoing. Having to reestablish myself in different states was a personal challenge because I had to learn how to make new friends and connect with new teammates and develop my role within team. It also enabled me to become a versatile player, quickly adapting to new coaches, teammates, and roles.
I started playing softball when I was six years old and I fell in love with the game. I’ve played softball for eight years and my primary goal is to play both high school and college softball. I believe my academic diligence, character, and athletic abilities exceed what is expected of me. I am a dedicated student athlete who devotes a lot of time to studying earning good grades. Aside from being a hardworking student I am dedicated to helping others and being a role model for my peers through my actions and composure. I want to help others achieve their goals by caring for them and pushing them to their limits. I am a trustworthy, responsible, and loyal friend and teammate who strives to be the best I can.
When it comes to softball I am a student of the game. I am always looking for ways to improve as well as meet the short- and long-term goals I’ve set for myself and I never give up on them, even when it gets tough. I am a motivated player who has had a lot of success when it comes to throwing out my opponents as a catcher and an infielder. What makes me stand out the most is my speed both as a baserunner and a catcher. As a baserunner I am often able to successfully steal multiple bases and draw a throw from my opponents. When I catch, my throws are always one step ahead of the baserunners. In short, I am equipped to adapt to the unexpected and ready to lead my team to success. I am versatile and I know that I have what it takes to be an impact player at the collegiate level.
