Personal Statement

I started my athletic career with gymnastic, where I competed for 8 years. I reach level 8 out of 10 levels before retiring. I then started Volleyball and have found a true love for the sport. I have been playing for 2 years, I started on a metro team, learned the game and took private lessons to enhance my performance and understanding of the game. The next year made the 14 ROX team with OKC Charge. I have continued with my private lessons and attended the Univ of Texas hitters camp last summer. This summer I have been invited to play with a NAIA college OK Southwestern Christian University. I also play beach volleyball during the summer to help with endurance and vertical. I have a great understanding of the game, I work hard and am driven to do my best and above all I consider myself to be a team player.

We took second place in the championship match. This gave us our second National qualifying bid. We will be attending the USAV Nationals tournament in Milwaukee, WI July 22 thru 24.

It was a 16's tournament we placed 2nd in our pool. Advanced to the Gold bracket on Monday and played in the finals for 1 place. Unfortunately we lost in 3 sets. We ended up 2nd all around for the tournament. Not bad for a 15's team. We are currently ranked 4th going into our regional tournament starting Saturday April 30th.

Training

Private lessons with Quiton Kraeer

Continue to work on improving my hitting, passing and defense. I meet with him on a weekly basis.
Extensive training program outside of Vollyball

My routine consists of jump roping, box jumps to improve my vertical, Treadmill running (6) miles a week. I also workout with my team after every practice.
I meet with my conditioning coach from 7:30am to 9:00am every Tuesday and Thursday until High School VB starts.
