What the Coaches are Saying...
Nov 06, 2018

“We participate in NCAA Division III athletics and are a member of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference. In 2014, we finished with a record of 15-5 in the ODAC and 31-16 overall. We just finished our 2014 season in Atlanta, GA at the NCAA Regional Tournament. We finished second in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) this season with an in-conference record of 15-5. Due to our strength of schedule and regional ranking, we went on to receive an at-large bid to the regional tournament. We finished third in the tournament. We are looking forward to another great year next year! We were ODAC champions in 2007, 2008, and 2009. Each time giving us an automatic bid to the NCAA Regional Tournament. In 2008 we won our regional tournament and made our first ever appearance in the Division III Softball Championship. In the past two seasons, we have received at-large bids to the NCAA Regional Tournament. Hard work and dedication on and off the field is a focus of each player in our program. We pride ourselves on not only doing well on the softball field, but also carrying one of the highest team GPA's on campus. Academics are top priority for our program. We must first be successful in the classroom in order to be successful on the field.”
