Being the youngest of 4, as well as the only girl, my passion for sports began at a very early age. I’d have to give a huge shoutout to my older brothers and my parents on the inspiration behind that. My mom likes to say that I was asking to play soccer as soon as I could spit the sentence out of my mouth but what came shortly after that was my love for the game of lacrosse. Being a Maryland native – I was putting myself in a very competitive position leading me to be extremely self-motivated, determined and disciplined. I played lacrosse, as well as soccer, year-round from age 5 up until my senior year where I suffered from 3 herniated discs, putting a halt on my athletic career. By the end of my sophomore year of high school – I was committed to Salisbury University for Lacrosse but due to the injuries suffered, I ended up taking the path less traveled by – I moved as far as I possibly could and focused solely on myself, for myself. If I could go back and change one thing, it would have to be not adding that extra 45lbs to the squat rack without a spotter so I could have pursued my love for lacrosse at the college level.

Which leads me back to NCSA and how I landed here – Nothing, and I mean nothing, makes me happier than being the person behind the phone who links student athletes with college coaches to help them find their place in this big ole world and making sure they have the tips, tricks and advice whilst going through the recruiting process (like not adding an extra 45lbs to the squat rack with no spotter). At the end of the day – it’s the student athletes that keep me motivated. Having the opportunity to impact their lives the way we do and provide them with that extra help necessary during this time is something I’m genuinely grateful for.

I’m quite the people person, I love love love making others happy – if there’s an opportunity to help in any way, I’ll be the first one there. My friends and family are a very important part of my life. When I’m not at the desk, you can usually find me at the gym, on the beach, getting crafty or curled up on the couch with my cat, Moose! Although I was born and raised in Maryland, I now reside in the Peach State of Georgia where I have never felt “peachier”.
