Ever since childhood, tennis has been a major part of my life.  As a nationally ranked junior player from San Diego, California, I had dreams of playing Division I tennis while attending a school with top-level academics.  These dreams came true when I accepted a slot at the United States Air Force Academy.

At the time, though, that decision was not an easy or obvious one to make.  The specific visions of what my future would look like rarely included attending a Service Academy!  However, my type-A, goal-driven personality turned out to be a perfect fit for the Air Force Academy program.

During my time at the Academy, I grew as both a tennis player and a leader.  Post-graduation, I remained on staff as the Women’s Assistant Tennis Coach. Following that, while carrying the rank of Lieutenant, I was selected to attend the Naval Postgraduate School to obtain a Masters in Business Administration. Balancing service to my country with my love for tennis allowed me to both serve in the U.S. Air Force, while also competing on the ITF Professional Circuit.  In fact, I have been fortunate to spend the last 15+ years living and coaching all over the world. My unique career path led me to opportunities I never imagined possible and would never have considered had I not been aware of, or carefully examined, all options during the recruiting process.  This is the driving force behind my strong desire to help aspiring collegiate athletes empower their future by finding the right school for them.

When not working, I can often be found on the court, both teaching and competing.  My love of tennis is only matched by my love of fitness and nutrition. However, above all, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband and I have a passion for travel and are committed to introducing our three children to different cultures all over the world!
