Sports have always been a big part of my life. It started at a very early age for me. At first, it was a wide range of sports: baseball, soccer, basketball, football and golf. During that time, I created a ton of friendships but also learned a ton of early life lessons. Some of the things I learned at an early age, because of sports, was coping with failure and overcoming adversity. Around middle school, I narrowed my participation and just focused on three sports: baseball, soccer and basketball. In all three sports, I got the opportunity to play at a very high level early in my high school career. After high school, I decided to pursue my love for baseball. While I was able to earn an athletic scholarship playing baseball at King University, my recruiting process was not ideal. Like most families, we had no idea how the recruiting process worked or what steps to take. And, because of that, I had to resort to playing in junior college, which, in retrospect, was the best decision I could have made. Out of junior college, I had more choices and a better grasp on how recruiting worked. Because of my recruiting experience, I wanted to develop a career around giving back and helping kids achieve their dreams of playing in college and getting an education. And NCSA was the perfect opportunity! Outside of NCSA, I also coach and train local youth. The opportunities allow me to stay true to my baseball roots and continue to build the sport that helped me achieve my goals.
