Hello Coaches, Administrators and Fans,
My name is Jesse Ray and I live in the suburban Atlanta area and started playing softball when I was 5 years old in coaches pitch. I started pitching when I was 10 years old and haven't turned back. When I was 12 years old, I met the famous gold medalist pitcher, Jennie Finch, at a camp held by her in Alabama and then I was even more convinced that pitching was what I wanted to pursue. I've played rec, middle-school, travel/showcase and of course high-school fast-pitch. I once pitched 5 games in one day when I was 13 years old in a tournament. I'm also a student of the game and constantly watch College fast-pitch games on TV and the ESPN Watch APP and know lots about the players and their families. My family is a big fan of the College fast-pitch as well and we have made numerous trips to local colleges to see the games and meet the players. In our high-school campaign of my sophomore year in the Fall of 2017, I pitched our team to the first State play off berth in school fast-pitch history. Our team is in a tough 2-AAAAAAA region and we finished 3rd behind the team who won the Georgia State Championship in the Fall of 2017. Please consider me for your team as I'm a dedicated student of the game and work hard during practice and in sessions both with my hitting and pitching instructors. I have also attended several College exposure camps. As a matter of fact, I will be attending at least 2 camps this summer in 2019. I had the privilege of meeting and pitching against Kelly Lynch, Gatorade Female HS Athlete of the Year. Thank you for your consideration.
Jesse Ray
